Mignon Mayo

Mrs. Mignon Mayo age 97, of Dresden died Saturday morning, June 28, 2014 at the Weakley County Rehab & Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral services for Mrs. Mayo were held Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2:30 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial that followed in the Matheny Grove Cemetery near Dresden.

Mrs. Mayo was born January 2, 1917 in Dresden, TN to the late Bob E. and Mary Bell Crofford Kelley. She was a retired Dresden Elementary School teacher, and a member of Matheny Grove Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elbridge Lee Mayo; three brothers, John Kelley, Carmon Kelley and Cleatus Kelley; and a sister, Myrtle Kelley.

Mrs. Mayo is survived by 4 nephews, Mike Kelley of Nashville; Edward Kelley of Florida; Jerry Kelley of Dresden; and Wade Kelley of Memphis; and 2 nieces: Mary Kelley of Dresden and Pat Gober of Nashville.
