Nellie Ruth Biggs (Brann)

Mrs. Nellie Ruth Biggs, 95, of Union City, TN formerly of Dresden, died Monday June 9, 2014 at the Obion County Nursing Home in Union City, TN. Funeral services for Mrs. Biggs were Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Palmersville Cemetery.

Mrs. Biggs was born August 10, 1918 in Palmersville, TN to the late Talmadge and Oma Atkins Brann. She was a seamstress for Kellwood Company and a member of Palmersville Primitive Baptist Church. She was a 1936 Dresden High School graduate and married Lewis Aden Biggs in 1936. Mr. Biggs preceded her in death in November, 2007. She was also preceded by a brother, Douglas Brann.

She is survived by daughters; Kara (Dan) Dunn of Union City, TN, Marie (Hugh) Nichols of Greenbriar, TN and Anita (Gary) Pagan of Peoria, AZ. Mrs. Nellie is also survived by grandchildren, Kathy Dunn (Joe) Pritchard, Daniel (Donna) Dunn and Roger (Traci) Dunn, two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren
