Norma Jean Franks

Norma Jean Franks, age 90 of Martin, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at her home. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Bowlin Funeral Home beginning at 4:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Sunday, October 20, 2024. beginning at 12 noon until service time at 2:00pm with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Powell will officiate the service. Norma was born to the late Clarence Newton Hammock and Inez Lewis in Ripley, TN. She is survived by her son Jerry Franks of Martin, TN; daughters Peggy (Jim) Pettit of Dresden, TN and Geraldine (Rodney) Minyard of Maury City, TN; brothers Marvin (Mary) Hammock of Dresden, TN, Bill Hammock of Ridgley, TN, and Bobby Hammock of Clinton, KY; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband George Franks.
