Norma Jean Stroud

Norma Jean Stroud, age 77, of Dresden, died Friday afternoon, February 5, 2021, at Weakley County Nursing Home.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4:00 - 7:00 pm and again on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Dresden Pentecostal Church from noon until service time at 2:00pm.  Burial will follow at Brock Cemetery in Greenfield, TN.

Norma was born May 18, 1943 in Martin, TN to Vernon Lee and Laverne Louise (Dockins) Brannan.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis Parker; and daughter, Kimberly Jean Miller.  Survivors include her husband, Fred Lee Stroud of Dresden; daughters: Jallie Whitney and Sherri Ruby, both of Dresden; sons: Michael Ray (Patti) McDaniel of Big Sandy, TN and Gregory Wayne McDaniel of AL; sisters: Shirley Ann Bradley of Dresden and Betty Smalling of Gleason; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
