Opal Lena Pentecost

Graveside services for Opal Lena Pentecost, 103 of Dresden, were held Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, at 2:00 PM, inside Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, with burial that followed. Rev. Mark Earheart officiated the services. Ms. Pentecost was born August 10, 1913, in Dresden, to the late Joseph Basil and Polly Sanderfer Crawford. She is survived by a daughter-in-law; Sarah Ann Pentecost, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband U. Blake Pentecost, 2 sons Joseph Blake Pentecost, and Mike Pentecost. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dresden 1st United Methodist Church Building Fund in her honor.
