Ora Biggers Ferrell

Mrs. Ora Biggers Ferrell age 95, of Dresden passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Weakley County Rehab & Nursing Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Ferrell were held on Sunday, April 10 inside the Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.

Mrs. Ferrell was born on September 20, 1920 to the late Wille L. Biggers and Nancy R. Maxey in Palmersville, TN. She was a baptist by faith and worked as a clerk at the Dresden Department Store for 31 years before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband W. D. Ferrell, and is survived by her only child; Larry (Ludean) Ferrell of Greenfield, TN. 2 grandchildren; Chad (Barbara) Ferrell, of Dresden and Tamara (Adam) Harrison of Sidonia. She also leaves behind 4 great grand children; Taylor, Parker, Tymber Ferrell of Dresden and Charley Kate Harrison of Sidonia, step grandchildren Sandra Coffey, Richard(Robin)Sharp, and Lacey(Eric)Overton, step great grandchildren, Taylor, Libby, and Cason Sharp, Kenady Coffey, and Ema and Levi Overton.
