Patricia Dianne Walton, age 71, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at her home in Dresden, Tennessee. Born on March 29, 1955, in Dyersburg, TN, Patricia’s life was marked by deep love, devotion to family, and a spirit filled with warmth and kindness.

Patricia was a beloved member of Unity Baptist Church, where her faith and community involvement were an important part of her life. She was known among her friends and family for her love of crocheting, her beautiful singing voice, and her fondness for Pepsi, simple joys that defined much of her daily happiness.

She deeply cherished her husband Leonard Earl Walton, Sr., who preceded her in death, as well as her late son Junior Walton and stepdaughter Betty Jean Walton. Patricia was also preceded in death by her father, Junior Lumley, and stepfather Charlie Pace. Despite these losses, her love and devotion endured strong within her surviving family.

Patricia is lovingly remembered by her mother, Dorothy Sue Lumley; her son, Victor Walton; and her sisters Ann Thompson, Ivy Muncrief, and Brenda Bowles. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren Hunter Walton, Carlee Walton, Heath Walton, Gage Walton, Bristol Walton, along with two step-grandchildren. She was also a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews who will hold her memory dear.

Her affection extended beyond her human family to her dogs, whom she adored and raised as though they were her own children. This profound and gentle care she showed for her pets reflected the generous heart she shared with all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on May 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home located at 279 W Main St, Dresden, TN 38225. Following this, a funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM in the same location. Burial will follow the service at Unity Cemetery in Dresden, where she will be laid to rest alongside those she loved.

Patricia's family and community will remember her as a woman of grace, warmth, and unwavering love. Her presence enriched the lives around her, and she will be profoundly missed yet forever cherished in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
