Phillip "Newman" Stroud

Phillip "Newman" Stroud age 95 of Dresden passed away July 20, 2024 at Weakley County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Brock Cemetery in Greenfield, TN.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.  Pastor Jonathan Davidson will officiate the service.

Phillip "Newman" Stroud was born June 20th, 1929 to the late Phillip Maynard Stroud and Mollie Mae (King) Stroud.  He is survived by his son, Kenneth Stroud of Rainsville, AL., his brothers, Bobby Stroud of Jackson, TN. and Fred Stroud of Dresden, TN., his granddaughter, Crystal (Stroud) Duco, his great grandsons, Joshua Duco, Jaxson Duco and Jamison Muse.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Georgia (Stroud) Herrndobler, his wife, Geneva (Bradberry) Stroud, his brothers, Billy and Charles Stroud, his sister, Brooksie (Stroud) Taylor, and his granddaughter, Jennifer Stroud.
