Phyllis Dunlap, born on August 8, 1953, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, at the Weakley County Nursing Home. She lived a full life and will be remembered by all who knew her.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, O.C. Dunlap and Minnie Burke, and her brother, Phillip Wayne Dunlap. She is survived by her loving brother, Gary Dunlap, who continues to cherish her memory.

Phyllis also leaves behind dear nieces who hold her close in their hearts: Kim (Mike) Hall of Greenfield, Tennessee; Anita Sexton of Dresden, Tennessee; and Loretta (Gary) Clifton of Parsons, Tennessee. Their love and support have been a bright part of her life.

Visitation for Phyllis will be held on May 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home, located at 279 W Main St, Dresden, Tennessee. Friends and family are welcome to come and share their memories.

Following the visitation, a Graveside Service will take place on the same day at Woodlawn Cemetery, 384 Woodlawn Avenue, Sharon, Tennessee. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Phyllis Dunlap will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the quiet strength she showed throughout her life. Her family invites all who knew her to come together to honor her memory and celebrate the life she lived.
