Preston Eugene Tucker

Preston Eugene Tucker, age 71, of Dresden, TN, died Friday May 11, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral services were Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Bible Union Cemetery near Martin, TN.
Mr. Tucker was born in Weakley County, TN to the late Alphis James and Janie Goodgine Tucker. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and attended Bible Union Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Shopher Tucker of Dresden, TN; a daughter, Tammy (Stacy L.) Owensby of Martin, TN; three grandchildren, Matt Owensby of Fort Carson, CO, Amber Owensby of Martin, TN and Tanner Owensby of Martin, TN; a stepdaughter, Llinda (Eddie) Needham of Dresden, TN; a brother, Richard Tucker of Paducah, KY; and two sisters Rebecca Moon of Jackson, TN and Era Sue Tucker of Dresden, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph Tucker, Wayne Tucker, James Tucker, and Fred Tucker; and three sisters, Betty Jean Hayes, Peggy Cochran, and Frances Sugg.
