Ralph Richard Skip Whitton

Mr. Ralph Richard "Skip" Whitton, 83, of Palmersville, TN, formerly of Antioch, IL, died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his residence. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a luncheon will be held to celebrate his life on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at CJ's Restaurant in Palmersville, TN at 1:00 PM. The family suggests memorials be sent to Palmersville Fire Department or the Wounded Warriors Project.

Skip was born October 29, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Frank and Mary Buglio Whitton. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Military Police during the Korean War. After serving his country, he was a contractor all his life before retiring. He loved the outdoors, dogs and hunting.

Mr. Whitton is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol Madison Whitton, of Palmersville, TN, son, Richard (Crystal) Whitton of Marion, IL and daughter, Lorna (Bill) Wilkey of Naperville, IL, two granddaughters, Mikala Whitton of Marion, IL and Bree Wilkey of Naperville, IL.
