Randall Stuart Mcgowan

Randall McGowan, 65 of Sharon, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at his home. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 8. 2021, at 2 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home with Judge Tommy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Macks Grove Cemetery near Dresden. Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon until service time at 2 pm. Randall was born in Paris, TN to the late Joel Hugh McGowan, and Edna Lorraine Roland. He is survived by his wife Sheila Gatewood McGowan, son Michael Stuart McGowan of Batesville, AR, daughter Erin Marie McGowan of Oak Park, MI, step daughter Precious (Colt) Cardwell of Dresden, grandchildren Merra Lee McGowan, Birdie Cardwell, A.J.Cardwell, and Saige Cardwell. Randall was an avid golfer, and retired from the Weakley County Sheriffs office after 26 years of service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Shop with Sheriff Smith and Justice Fundraiser for underprivilaged children at Christmas.
