Graveside services for Raymond Jerry Hamlin, age 87 of Sharon, TN will be held January 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon, TN. Jerry passed away Tuesday, January 26th at Hillview Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janice Brawner Hamlin of Sharon, TN, and three children- daughter, Starla (William) Cooper of Dresden, TN, and sons, Kelly Hamlin of Sharon, TN and Carey Hamlin of Gadsden, TN. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Candace (Eric) Allman of Dresden, TN, Dena (Anthony) Carter of Dresden, TN, Deidra-Ann (Jonathon) Crafton of Sheboygan, WI and Steven Hamlin of Cleveland, TN. He also leaves behind 5 great grandchildren, Andrew (Amber) Carter stationed in Anchorage, AK, Landon Carter, Cooper Allman and JonReece Allman all of Dresden, TN and Rylin Crafton of Sheboygan, WI. He also leaves behind a great, grandson, Rhett Asher Carter of Anchorage, AK. He leaves his sister, Patsy Hamlin of Sharon, TN, and 2 nephews, Kenneth and Roger Roney of Sharon, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Norene Hamlin, a sister, Shirley Roney, and his son Steven Ray Hamlin. In lieu of flowers , memorials may be made to the Sharon First Baptist Church.
