Rebecca "Becky" Morgan

Rebecca "Becky" Morgan, 73, of Sidonia, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 in Union City. Her work on earth is now complete and her soul rests in peace with our Creator.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2 pm at the Sidonia Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sidonia. Visitation will be Monday evening at Bowlin Funeral Home from 5 pm until 7 pm, and Tuesday from 1 pm until service time at 2pm at the church.

Becky was born in Sidonia on June 17, 1950 to the late John Calvin and Alice Earline Miles Frazier. Becky’s heart-rooted faith in and love for Jesus Christ was evidenced through the way she lived her life and loved her family, which was infinitely abundant and overflowed to her friends as well. She was a phenomenal cook and baked pies that were as sweet and beautiful as her. Becky loved flowers of all kinds, especially her roses which brought immense joy to her. She served God and Jesus Christ during her time on earth and was a devoted and beloved member of Sidonia Assembly of God Church. Becky was a very hard-working woman, both inside and outside of her home. She was a retiree of the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Becky is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ed Morgan; son, Todd Morgan; daughter, Crystal Ladd (Jason); sisters, Annette Harrison (Rex) and Betty White; brothers, Bill Frazier, Clarence Frazier, and Homer Frazier; four grandsons, Jason Morgan, Malachi Beauregard, Collin Beauregard, and Gunner Ladd; fur baby, Sissy; two grand dogs, Ellie Mae and Zeus; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and several sisters, one of which, she shared an especially close bond with, her sister, Jeanette Needham. Jeanette had lovingly dedicated much of her time and energy to helping to care for Becky up until the day of her very own passing on October 11, 2023, only nine days before Becky’s.
