Richard Larry Bennett

Richard Larry Bennett, 86 of Dresden, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Weakley County Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 4 pm, at Sunset Cemetery with Joe Moseley officiating. Burial will immediately follow. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 3 pm until 3:45 pm. Mr. Bennett was born August 8, 1934, in Fruitland, TN to the late Richard Harry and Lucille McKinley Bennett. He was a member of the Dresden First United Methodist Church, and a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Ann Stewart Bennett of Dresden, son Keith Bennett of Clarksville, grandchildren Collin Welker and Annie Bennett both of Clarsville, and Ben, Troy, and Elsie Bennett all of Long Meadow, MA, and daughter in law Colleen Bennett also of Long Meadow, MA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Sammy Bennett.
