Richard Wayne Summers

Mr. Richard Wayne Summers, 62, of Dresden died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Summers were Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home with burial following in Sunset Cemetery.

Mr. Summers was born May 30, 1950 in Martin, TN to the late Clarence Gilbert and Lela Alpine Sexton Summers. He was a Highway Maintenance Worker for the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a member of Jolley Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Summers was also preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Laws and Dorothy McWherter. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Milton Summers of Dresden, brothers; Dan (Oma) Summers of Stanton, KY, Kenneth (Betty) Summers of Sikeston, MO, Robert (Linda) Summers of Gleason, TN and one sister, Sue Hopkins of Dresden.
