Richard Dean Williams

Richard Dean Williams, age 83 of Dresden, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23rd at First Baptist Church in Dresden beginning at 4:00pm until 7:00pm and again at the church on Wednesday, July 24th beginning at 10:00am until service time at 11:00am with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery. Bro. Don McCulley will officiate the service. Richard was born to the late Thomas Elwood Williams and Ethel Estelle Harper in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his wife Diann Williams; son Derrick (Lisa) Williams; brothers Kenneth (Norma) Williams and Charles (Betty) Williams; sister Katie (Bob) Wheat; grandchildren Jeremy Moss, Millie Williams, Payton (Mary Alice) Williams, and Bryce (Lexi Dunn) Williams; and great grandchildren Ryman Williams, Tillie Martin, and Camp Williams. He is preceded in death by his son Darren Richard Williams; brothers Harold Williams and Doyle Williams; and sisters Marjorie Van Skike, Bonnie Danner, Lyndall Bradberry, and Margaret Warren.
