Ricky Allen Black, 46, of Dresden, passed away on July 8, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born in Union City, TN, Ricky was a beloved son of Debbie Legens and Richard Black. He dedicated several years of his career to MTD and was known for his love of cooking, fishing, and cherishing moments with family and friends.

Visitation will be at Bowlin Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason, with Bro. Keith Sumner officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Hayden England, Harley Puckett, Craig Galey, Rusty Chapman, Dakota Black, and Cody Brackett.

Ricky's memory lives on through his loving family, including his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Billy Legens of Dresden, TN; his father and stepmother, Richard and Mary Black of Gleason, TN; his daughter, Cheyanna (Rusty) Chapman of Paris, TN; and his son, Dakota Black of Fritch, TX. He is also survived by his siblings, Rhonda Russell of Hennings, TN; Michelle Ridgeway of Henry, TN; Melanie Denton of Paris, TN; Julie (Justin Rockett) Stewart of Gleason, TN; and his brother Larry Black of Gleason, TN. His legacy continues through his nieces Kimberly (Craig) Galey and Sabrina (David) Hitsman, along with their children, all in Dresden, TN, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Annalise Teague and Laryssa Chapman of Paris, TN.

Ricky's warmth and joy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
