Robert Lee Cochran, 77, of Dresden, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on June 7, 2025.

Born in Union City, TN, on December 28, 1947, Robert was the son of the late Emma Lou Smith and Leeland Guinn Cochran. He grew up in Obion and Weakley counties, later moving to Nashville before returning to West Tennessee in the mid-1990s, where he lived out the remainder of his life doing what he loved most—being close to nature and to family.

Robert was an avid fisherman, hunter, and a skilled carpenter whose hands could build just about anything. He believed in living with integrity, loving without conditions, and always telling the truth—no matter how hard it was to hear. He loved deeply and gave his heart fully to those closest to him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Graham Cochran, and his children: Todd Cochran, Kristen Dean (Matt), Stephanie Scott, and Justin Cochran. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Hunter Cochran (Megan), Kelsey Cochran, Freddie Martin, Ryan Dean, Parker Scott, Laney Scott, Madelyn Dean, and Landon Dean and one great granddaughter Harper Mae Cochran.

Robert also shared a special bond with his sister-in-law, Patricia Anderson (Matt), whom he loved like a daughter, and her sons Jackson and Camden. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and friend, Jan Graham.

Per Robert’s wishes, there will be no formal service. His family honors his memory by holding close the values he lived by—honesty, love, and the kind of quiet strength that leaves a lasting mark.
