Robert Lee Gurley

Robert Lee Gurley age 72, of Dresden died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Gurley was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and member of American Legion Post #94. The family held a memorial service for Mr. Gurley on Monday, July 14, at 2 PM at Siloam Baptist Church near Dresden. Mr. Gurley was the husband of Elizabeth Ann Durham Gurley, the father of Johnny Gurley and Shayna Sue Gurley both of Dresden. He is also survived by one brother; James "Jimmy" Gurley of IN, and one sister; Martha Gurley Harris of Mayfield, KY. 3 stepsons; James, Michael, and David Hammonds all of Dresden; and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Bowlin Funeral Home to help with arrangements.
