Robert Lee Parsley

Robert Lee Parsley, age 88, of Dresden, died Friday at his residence in Dresden, TN. Funeral services were Monday July 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.
Mr. Parsley was born May 1, 1924 in Weakley County, TN to the late Dupree and Alice Hodges Parsley. He was married to Mavis Kathryn Smith Parsley for 67 years. He was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dean Parsley; one great grandchild; and a brother, Minus Harold Parsley.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Kathryn Smith Parsley of Dresden; a daughter, Sheila (Dean) Buchanan of Martin, TN; a sister, Hattie Johnson of Gleason; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
