Ronald Dan Copeland, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was born on May 15, 1940, in Palmersville, Tennessee. He passed away at his home on October 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
A dedicated member of the National Guard, Ronald served his country with honor, embodying the values of service and commitment that he held dear. His life was not only marked by his military service but also by his profound appreciation for antiques, a hobby that brought him joy and allowed him to connect with the past.
Ronald is survived by his devoted wife, Jane Copeland; his son, Greg (Wanda) Copeland; and his grandchild, Daniel (Haylee) Copeland. The bonds of love he cultivated with his family will continue to shine brightly in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Copeland and Vida Opal Mansfield, as well as his brothers, Bob Copeland and Donald Copeland. Their memory lives on in the stories and experiences shared that brought warmth and laughter to the family gatherings.
The community is invited to celebrate Ronald's life and legacy. A visitation will be held on October 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both at Bowlin Funeral Home, located at 279 W Main St, Dresden, TN 38225. The service will be officiated by Shannon Seaton. Following the funeral service, Ronald will be laid to rest in Morgan Cemetery.
Pallbearers honoring Ronald include Daniel Copeland, Noah Copeland, Chris Jones, Jason Puckett, Riley Puckett, and Zach Bradley. Each of these individuals carries forward Ronald's spirit of love and dedication, a testament to the impact he made on those around him.
