Roy Hodges Dunning, Jr., 79, of Sharon, TN, died Wednesday, December 25th, 2013 at Weakley County Rehab & Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral services for Mr. Dunning were Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 am at Victory Baptist Church near Sharon, TN with burial following in Travis Chapel Cemetery near Dresden.

Mr. Dunning was a factory employee and a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was born May 4, 1934 in Weakley County, TN to the late Roy H. and Bonnie Wiseman Dunning, Sr. He was also preceded by his wife, Ruth Ann Stacks Dunning, grandchildren Timothy Roy and Valene Marie and sister, Dorothy Pennington.

He is survived by his daughter, Lorrie (Tim) Edwards of Sharon and son, Kenneth R. (April) Dunning of Round Lake Park, IL, grandchildren; Elaura Ruth, Elijah Peter and Elan Everest Dunning of Round Lake Park, IL and brother, Richard Leon Dunning of North Carolina.
