Ruth Ann Matheny Williams, age 74, of Martin, TN, formerly of Dresden, TN, died Monday June 25, 2012 at her residence in Martin, TN. Funeral services for Mrs. Williams were Thursday June 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, TN.
Mrs. Williams was born in Dresden, TN to the late James M. and Irene Darnell Matheny. She was a member of Macks Grove Baptist Church. She was married to Harold D. Williams for 56 years.
She is survived by her husband Harold D. Williams of Martin, TN; a daughter Sheila (Gary) Wilson of Martin, TN; a son David (Sheree) Williams of Nashville, TN; four grandsons; four sisters, Mairene Vancleave of Union City, TN, Sue (David) Mansfield of Dresden, TN, Joyce (James) Jolley of Dresden, TN, and Patsy (Elmo) Tucker of Lansing, MI.; and one brother James Thomas (Judy) Matheny of Dresden, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters.
