Sara Jane Filtz

Sara Jane "Janie" Filtz, 60, of Dresden, TN died Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her residence in Dresden, TN. A memorial service was held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church in McKenzie, TN.

Janie was born February 17, 1954 in McKenzie, TN to Ethel McCloud Wheat and the late B. J. Wheat. She was a housewife and Methodist in faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Janie is survived by her husband, John "Jack" Filtz of Dresden; two sons, Phillip Filtz of Dresden and Josh Filtz of Southaven, MS; one grandchild; her mother, Ethel Wheat of McKenzie, TN; and two brothers, Larry Wheat and Sam Wheat, both of McKenzie, TN.
