Shelby Garnett Selvey, aged 81, of Dresden, Tennessee, passed away at her home on February 11, 2026. Born on November 25, 1944, in Dresden, she was a cherished member of her community and a devoted family member.

Shelby was beloved for her warm spirit and unwavering commitment to her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Rodney "Jack" Selvey; her daughter, Lori (Brian) Donavant; and her cherished grandchildren: Brian Harrison, Matthew Harrison, and Christopher Hutcherson. She also took great joy in her role as a great grandmother to Jayce, Ava, Porter, and Ruby Harrison.

Shelby was preceded in death by her parents, Hyburn Mansfield and Ruby Mae Legens, her son, Roger Harrison, and her sister, Shirley Stroud. Their memories will forever remain a part of her legacy.

A visitation to honor Shelby's life will be held at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden, Tennessee, on February 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Bro. Paul Cagle. After the service, burial will take place at Unity Cemetery.

Shelby was a dedicated member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Union City, TN, where she contributed to her faith community with love and commitment. Her spirit and love will continue to inspire those who knew her.
