Sherry Joan Matlock (Buckley)

Sherry Joan Buckley Matlock, 69, of Dresden, TN died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11:00 am at Bowlin Funeral Home with burial following in the Buckley Family Cemetery near Dresden. Eddie Hutchens officiated the services. Pallbearers included Ben Boyd, Gary Sadler, Jeff Boyd, Doug Matlock, Nathan Ballentine and Johnny Baker.

Mrs. Matlock was born June 7, 1946 in Dresden, TN to the late Marvin Almary "Jack" and Lela F. LeCornu Buckley. She was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Church of Christ. She married Jerry D. Matlock on June 3, 1995.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Chloe Eva-Leigh Rickman. She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Matlock of Dresden and children, Doug Matlock of McKenzie, TN, Denice Long of Sharon, Stacey Rickman of Jackson, Tammy Matlock Chandler of McKenzie and Teresa Matlock (Johnny) Baker of Huntingdon, TN; grandchildren, Alexa Doli of Martin and Sadie Rickman of Dresden, 5 step grandchildren, one great grandchild, Emma Doli of Martin and 2 step great grandchildren along with one sister, Kaye (Gary) Sadler of Dresden.
