Shirley Pauline Kemp, age 64, of Dresden, TN died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden. Funeral services for Mrs. Kemp were Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Palmersville Cemetery in Palmersville, TN. Mrs. Kemp was born April 13, 1948 in Chicago to the late Russell Coy and Virginia Louise Long Gill. She was preceded by one son, John William Kemp, Jr. She is survived by her husband, John William Kemp, sons; Jason (Jennifer) Kemp all of Dresden and Johnathan Kemp of Jackson, daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Alford of Dresden, eight grandchildren, brothers; Ronnie (Brenda) Gill of Dyersburg, TN, Lonnie Gill of Martin and Mike (Marsha) Gill of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Norma (Bobby) Brown of Troy, TN, Patsy Gibson of Union City and Penny Lee of Martin, TN. Mrs. Kemp was a housewife and member of New Hope Baptist Church in Latham.
