Susan Cassine Burnes (Thornton)

Mrs. Susan Cassine Burnes, 63, of Dresden, TN died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at her residence. Visitation was Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago, IL.

Mrs. Burnes was a licensed practical nurse for over 45 years and a member of Union City Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Burnes was born June 26, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Leila Pietsch Thornton of Elmhurst, IL and the late Delmar George Thornton. She is also survived by her husband, James Henry Burnes of Dresden, sons, Marty Milner, Jr, of Ohio, Roger (Stephanie) Milner of North Dakota and James Beauregard, Jr. of Eure, NC; daughters, Cheryl (Dennis) Greene of Eure, NC, Sharon Beauregard of Bald Knob, AR and Danielle Beauregard of South Boston, VA,; brothers, Ed Thornton of Elmhurst, IL and Dale (Julie) Thornton of IL, along with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
