Sylvia Blakemore

Sylvia Lou Blakemore, 73 formerly of Dresden, passed away April 20, 2021 in Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2021, at 2 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 12 pm until service time at 2 pm. Sylvia was born in Chicago, IL on November 29, 1947 to the late John and Bobbi Royster Yarber. She is survived by her son John (Leanne) Blakemore of Chapel Hill, TN, her daughter Scarlett (Randy) Reynolds of Pelham, TN, brother Randy Yarber of Arlington, TN,  sister Micki Ferrell of Cordova, TN, and 4 grandchildren.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Lloyd "Buddy" Blakemore, and sisters Jean Prince, Roma Bills, and Robin Yarber. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric McCartney, Eric Reed, Eric Storey, Mickey Overcast, Jason Pierpoint, River Stoltz, Wayne Copeland, Pam Copeland, and Roy Morrow
