Sylvia M. Mangrum

Sylvia M. Mangrum age 91 of Dresden, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Hillview Community Living Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Mangrum were held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM inside the Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial that followed in Sunset Cemetery. Bro. Russell Cherry and Bro. Steve Webb officiated the services. Sylvia Watts Mangrum was born June 13, 1925 in Palmersville, TN. to the late Bud and Emily Mc Bee Watts. She is survived by her son; John (Jere) Mangrum, of Fort Myers, FL.; 2 daughters; Barbara (Kenneth) Rodgers, of Dresden, TN. and Belinda Massey of Henderson, TN. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; James William Mangrum,her brother Arville Watts, and her sister; Irene Webb. She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family has requested that donations be made to Bowlin Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
