Ms. Sylvia Brock McCartney, 56, of Greenfield, TN died Monday, June 16, 2014 at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden. Graveside services were Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Brock Cemetery in Greenfield with burial immediately following.
Ms. Brock was born July 2, 1957 in Molus, KY to the late Claude and Goldie Blanton Brock. She was a homemaker and Pentecostal by faith.
She is survived by children; Chris (Melissa) Biggers of Martin, TN, Amanda (Dickie) Garrigus of Dresden, Kelly (Rodney) Frazier of Humboldt, TN and Meredith (Charles) Beane of Murray, KY, brothers; Robert (Sherry) Brock of Dresden and Vincent Brock of Hornbeak, TN, sisters; Alice Hurst of Greenfield, TN, Shirley (Jeff) Fee of Newark, OH, Rosemary Brock of Jackson, TN, Sandra (Dale) Davidson of McKenzie, TN, Lora Jane (Jerry) Stockdale of Hornbeak, TN and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Mitchell. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bowlin Funeral Home for her services.
