Tanya Marie Louise Suratt Jordan, 44, of Martin, Tennessee, passed away on June 11, 2026.
Born on June 27, 1981, in Denver, Colorado, Tanya was the beloved daughter of Ralph Love Suratt (Lynnie Suratt) and Sandra Gow.
Tanya never met a stranger. She had a gift for connecting with people and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She was known for her kindness, vibrant personality, and the way she made people feel welcome. Tanya was bougie and wore that title proudly. She loved beautiful things, had an eye for style, and always found a way to make life feel a little more special. Whether it was decorating a space, putting together an outfit, or adding her own creative touch to something ordinary, she had a knack for turning everyday moments into something memorable.
Above all, she loved her children in her own unique way. Her creativity, warmth, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Jordan; her parents, Ralph Love Suratt (Lynnie Suratt) and Sandra Gow; her children, Dartainyn Suratt, Allysiah Farrar, Phoenyx Suratt (Jess Farrar), and Rydia Jordan; her grandson, Taytum Farrar; and her siblings, Melissa Riley, Kerry Suratt (Courtney Suratt), Stephanie Lewis (Jay Lewis), Jay Suratt, Brandon Suratt (Katelyn Suratt), Andy Suratt (Leah Suratt), and Aerial Suratt Haroldson.
Though her time with us feels far too short, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Central Baptist Church in Martin, Tennessee, on June 19, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 4:00 p.m. All who knew and loved Tanya are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
