Theresa Anne Taylor

Theresa "Terri" Anne Taylor, age 72, of Dresden, TN died Sunday morning, July 11, 2021 at Weakley County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Terri was born October 19, 1948 in Toronto, Canada to the late Denis and Eva (McLaren) Caillier.  Terri was a clerical worker at Fidelity Investments in Toronto, but most recently worked at E.W. James in Dresden.  On July 3, 2008 she married her soul-mate, John Thomas Taylor.  They met online while sharing their passion for playing "Pogo."  Terri made two trips to visit John and on the third trip they decided to make it permanent.  Terri was a people person who loved her family, gardening and joking around.  John's fondest memory is Terri 'lighting up a room with either her smile or a joke.'  She also enjoyed animal rescue (especially cats) and completing Diamond Art and Paint by Number projects, many which are framed and hanging around their house.

In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Caillier and sister, Debbie Marquardt.  Survivors include her husband, John Thomas Taylor of Dresden; son, Graham McCoy of Canada; stepsons: Josh (Amber) Taylor of Martin, Jacob Taylor of Dresden, Joe Taylor and John (Amanda) Taylor, both of Indiana; sisters: Cindy Barnett and Norma Seichter, both of Canada; brothers: Doug and Kenneth Caillier, both of Canada; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
