Thomas Emerson "Tommy" Palmer

Thomas Emerson "Tommy" Palmer Sr., 77 of Dresden, Passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at his home. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 2 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 11 am until service time at 2 pm. Tommy was born on December 9, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Hershel and Thelma Ruth Beverley Palmer. He is survived by a son Thomas Palmer Jr., daughters Vickie Wiley, and Sandra (Raymond) McAlister, sister Patricia (Roger) Stout, brother Robert (Bonnette) Palmer, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Tommy was an avid coonhunter for most of his life. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran where he received the Purple Heart.
