Tyler Fischer Mayo

Tyler Fischer Mayo, age 17 formerly of Dresden, passed from this life on August 1 surrounded by his loving family at their home in Smyrna, TN. Visitation will be Sunday August 6 at Bowlin Funeral Home chapel from 11:00am until service time at 2:00pm with Bro. Kerry Shopher to officiate. There will be no burial to follow as he will be cremated. Tyler was born April 19, 2006 and was the loving son to DeAnna and Donnie Johnson. Tyler would be an incoming senior at Smyrna High School. During his cancer journey, he became very interested in the oncology nurse profession and talked of studying that after high school. He wanted to help other children like him. His love for history took the family on yearly birthday tours around many historical Middle Tennessee sites. His real love and passion was online gaming with all of his friends near and far. Along with his parents, Tyler is survived by his siblings Cole Mayo of Smyrna, TN, Connor and Lesley Johnson of Pensacola, and Blake (Rebecca) Mayo of Martin, TN. He is also survived by his Aunt Dawn (Dale) Brooks; uncles David (Michelle) Fischer of Memphis, TN, Dale Fischer, Darren (Michelle) Fischer of Martin, TN, Ronnie Johnson of Martin, TN, and Shayne (Gretchen) Gibson of Samburg, TN; grandparents (Poppa) Joe and (Nana) Mary Johnson, (Poppy) Bobby and (Nona) Samantha Mayo; and numerous cousins and the greatest friends. He is preceded in death by his loving grandparents (Pa) David "Fish" and (Nan) Mildred Fischer.
