Ulis Gene Janes

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Janes of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving family and friends to mourn his passing. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of their loved one. They can also leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Janes to pay him a final tribute.

He is survived by his children: David (Tina) Janes of Stevens Point, WI and Treesa Janes Penland of Chicago IL; grandchildren: Amber (Blake) Williams,  Rachel (Austin) Hintz, Nicholas Penland, Jack Penland, Paul Mandrik Jr., Christopher Mitchell, Melissa Lavigne; great grandchildren: Sylas,  Sydney, Owen, Lucas, Miles; siblings: Colleen (Basil) Moon of Martin, TN; and many nieces and nephews including Don (Dawn) Janes and Steve Janes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulis Janes and Edna Mae Ellis Janes; daughter Lisa Janes; siblings Francis Daniels, Pamela Brooks, Tommy Janes, Ellis (Jackie) Janes , Charles (Bessy) Janes, and Mildred Frields of Memphis, TN;

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 26th 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Eastside Cemetery, Martin, TN.
