Violet Rose Jackson (Wienckowski)

Mrs. Violet Rose Jackson, 73, of Dresden, TN died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services were Friday, November 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Bowlin Funeral Home with burial following in New Hope Cemetery near Latham, TN.

Mrs. Jackson was born March 28, 1941 in Escanaba, Michigan to the late Stanley and Helen Duda Wienckowski. She was a homemaker and retired packer for Miller's Country Hams. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dresden. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Phillip Wayne Jackson, and one grandson, Zachary Jackson. She was also preceded by brothers, Hank, Kenneth, Robert, Wally, Louie, Merlin, Florian and Victor Wienckowski and sisters, Tillie Wienckowski and Cecelia Dragosh.

She is survived by her children, Duane (Diane) Jackson, Steven (Joniece) Jackson and Cheryl Jackson all of Dresden. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Shaelee Wiley, Desarae Wiley, Dominique Minga, Emma Jackson and Jesse Hutchinson and one great grandchild, Aiden Jackson, along with brothers; Ray, Tony, and Chris Wienckowski, sisters; Romona Manety, Amelia Valyano, Gloria Soulak and Estelle Lewinoke
