Virdie "Jean" Caldwell (Forrester)

Mrs. Virdie "Jean" Caldwell age 83, of Dukedom, TN passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Weakley County Rehab & Nursing Center in Dresden. Funeral services for Mrs. Caldwell were held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 inside Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial that followed in the Pleasant View Cemetery between Latham and Dukedom.

Mrs. Virdie Jean Forrester Caldwell was born April 19th, 1932 in Lynnville, KY to the late Odie Forrester and Goldie Baldridge. She was a factory worker until her retirement. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her son; Victor Caldwell of Dukedom, TN., her 3 brothers; Steve Forrester of Martin, TN., Donnie Forrester of Florida; Tim Forrester of Martin, TN., her 4 sisters; Glenda Chase of Milan, TN; June Harper of Dresden, TN; Sherry Goudey of Martin, TN; and Robbie Lyons of Fulton, KY. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Connie Caldwell and her daughter, Connie Jean Caldwell Darden.
