Virgil was born August 29th, 1940, in Lake County, TN to the late Louie Virgil and Annie Laura (Johnson) Morgan. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Virgil was a truck driver for over forty-five years, and all three of his sons followed in their father's footsteps and became truck drivers. Virgil was a previous member of the TN Army National Guard for approximately thirteen years, acquring the rank of SGT/E5. His family remembers Virgil for his car trading, or "wheeling and dealing," always arriving home in a vehicle different from the one he left. Virgil passed on his jokester personality and love for life to his sons. He also passed on the ability to enjoy a precious hug and share "I love you" frequently amongst themselves. He loved his three granddaughters; enjoyed a good round of golf with friends; and was the perfect gentleman, great father and grandfather. Everyone who met Virgil loved him!
