Virginia Lucille Coney Johnson, 83, of Gleason, TN, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Union City, TN. Funeral services were Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery near Dresden, TN.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Rector, AR to the late Sam Houston and Pauline Stacks Coney. She was a housewife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dean Johnson, Sr., and a son, Bobby Dean Johnson, Jr.

Mrs Johnson is survived by a son, Mark J. (Shanda) Johnson of Troy, TN; three grandchildren, Luke Laster, Riley Laster, and Daniel Turner; and a brother, Bobby Gene (Claudia) Coney of Conway, AR.
