William "Billy" Chapell

Mr. Billy Chapell age 79, of Dresden, died on Friday 12/13, 2019 at his residence, a "Celebration of Life Service" will be held on Sunday, 12/15/19 at Bowlin Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  William "Billy" Chapell was born on October 7, 1940 in Gleason, TN. to the late William and Allie Adams Chapell.  He is survived by his wife, Dolores Johnson Chapell, his daughters; Sherry Stephens and Michelle Chapell, all of Dresden.  He also leaves behind his 3 grandchildren, Dagan Smith Wilkey, Chapell Dain Cissell, Danica Jewel Cissell, his 4 great grandchildren, Mykayla Smith Wilkey, Karma Wilkey, Bryton Wilkey, Kross Cissell and many others that called him "Pop".  He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church in Gleason and a United States Navy Veteran.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Mr. Chapell's honor be made to the American Heart Association or the United States Veteran Administration.
