William Ted Dyer

Mr. William Ted Dyer, 86 of Gleason, passed away Tuesday morning at his home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24 at 1:00 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm. Mr. Dyer was born December 24, 1932 to the late Alvin Talmadge and Annie Lou Shankle Dyer.  He was retired from Standard Auto Parts in Dresden.  He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Nichols Dyer and a daughter, Brenda (Gary) Sutherland; brother, Marvin Dyer; sisters, Burnell McClain and Maedell Klutts; two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three great grandchildren.  Mr. Dyer was a United States Army Veteran.  The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the West Union Baptist Church.
