Willie Irick Mcbride Jr

Willie Irick McBride, Jr., age 80, of Dresden, died Saturday morning at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, , November 30, 2021 at Bowlin Funeral Home . Visitation will be Monday, 11/29/2021 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 12 noon until service time at 2:00 pm. Bro Steve Boone will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery with Military Honor Guard Presentation. Willie was born April 28th, 1941 in Trenton, TN. He joined the United States Army, which became his life-long career. He retired from Fort Campbell, KY (101 Abn Div / ASSLT) as a Master Sergeant / E8, mechanic maintenance supervisor. MSG (Ret) McBride, Jr. received many accolades and awards during his twenty years of service. Willie was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Jean McBride; daughters: Carol Jean Reed and Leo Iricka Smith; brother, Horace McBride; sisters: Dorothy Teague, Joyce Turnbo, Carolyn Washam and Julia Farmer; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Irick and Leo (White) McBride, Sr.
